Naomi Millbank-Smith
Best known for her time on Channel 4’s original and hugely popular reality TV show “Shipwrecked”, 23 year old Naomi Millbank-Smith was armed with charisma, style and natural beauty, as she took our shores by storm.

As the series of the 2007 Shipwrecked unfolded, Naomi was the name on everyone’s lips. However, life has certainly not been a breeze for this quietly ambitious young professional. Disciplined in the art of performance, Naomi is a well-rounded modern day entertainer who has honed her skills as a singer, dancer and actress over the years, whilst enjoying a modest career as a professional model. From a very young age, Naomi has had a great passion for the performing arts and entertainment. She has always found great pleasure in captivating audiences, whether it is through dance, music or drama. This realisation leads Naomi to follow her dream and pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Born in Harrow and raised on Canvey Island, Naomi started her performance training in her teenage years at Star Studios of Performing Arts, during which time she performed at numerous festivals and won the acclaimed title of “All England” tap dancer of the year. She continued to study at Tiffany Stage Academy and was then awarded a full time grant to attend Performers Dance College in Corringham, where she completed her training and within six months was starring in a local Peterborough Production. Since college, Naomi has worked tremendously hard to establish a career for herself as an accomplished dancer, distinguished actress and professional model. She has worked on various media campaigns for market leaders such as Coca-Cola and Fairy Liquid, and has been depicted as a character in the new Sony Playstation “SingStar” game.

Naomi’s Shipwrecked experience has certainly captured the hearts of the British public and her first primetime television appearance has been one that has helped Naomi become a bright young starlet. Since returning from the Cook Island Naomi has been inundated with work offers including a guest appearance in ITV’s the Bill, last August, where she appeared alongside fellow celebrity Darren Day.

Having graced the covers of magazines and newspapers, and being seen at the hottest showbiz parties of the year Naomi was fast becoming a household name.

In October 2007, Naomi beat off tough competition from fellow celebrities and was asked to become the face of new Sky channel, Pitch Entertainment. Launching the channel via a national press campaign, Naomi then took her role as one of the shows live presenters.

Shortly after signing with Pitch Entertainment, Naomi was spotted by the producers for Nuts TV and was offered a job as one of their female presenters; sadly this was short lived due to the channel shutting down its live shows but Naomi went straight into her next presenting job giving Dermot O’Leary a run for his money as she travelled from city to city trying to find Britian’s Next Urban Superstar.
