Lee Sharpe
Lee’s boundless charm and keen sense of humour coupled with his natural ability in front of the camera never fail to catch attention and he is now in high demand as a guest presenter, interviewee and celebrity contributor across all media platforms and genres.

Lee Sharpe’s name was synonymous with English Soccer during the nineties and he is still remembered today as one of the great players of his time.  During his career at Manchester United, under manager Alex Ferguson, Sharpe played alongside many of the greats and helped his club win three league titles, two FA Cup titles, a European Winners Cup and also an unparalleled eight England caps. Sharpe moved from Manchester United to Leeds United and onto Bradford City, before finally retiring from the on-pitch limelight in 2004.

Upon retiring, It didn’t take Lee long to move from the bench to the couch, as he has enjoyed a very successful TV life as a football pundit for the BBC, working as a features reporter and as a live studio guest on “Score”, “Football Focus” and “Match of the Day 2” to name but a few and also most recently working on “Football Italia”.

Lee is extremely happy to share his love of the beautiful game with the world through his latest project, “Lee Sharpe Soccer Schools”.  His Schools are in the two very diverse communities of South Africa and America, with the South African project directed at under-privileged children.  The aim is helping to teach life skills as well as football skills with IT facilities and academic teachers being present in each school. Lee is very passionate about this charity and not only spent time in the States and South Africa with the children, he opened new facilities and even showed his incredible dedication to the charity by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise much needed funds.

He may be retired from football but Lee is still passionate about sport of all kind and in 2007 he joined other sports and media personalities as a contestant on the ITV hit series “Dancing on Ice”. Partnered with UK Champion Frankie Poultney and coached by the World famous Olympic Ice Dance champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, Lee was a much loved contestant and skated his way well into the series only narrowly missing a spot in the semi-finals.

Adding to his long list of presenting roles, Lee has gained much TV experience having co-hosted ITV’s top rating show “Junior Gladiators” and also a 5 part BBC series “Wembley - Stadium of Dreams”. Lee then quickly moved to Channel 4 to join the breakfast show team on 'RIS'E which is where he could be seen every Friday! Lee could also be seen as a regular roving reporter on “Footballers Wives” on ITV 2 with acting being yet another of his many talents.  Viewers will also remember Lee who was joined by many other famous faces on the gorgeous Island of Figi on ITV's “Celebrity Love Island” in 2005. Airing live every night, Lee was an extremely popular contestant with people voting in their millions to ensure that Lee was in the final four only narrowly missing the winning spot!

Of course no football legend would be complete without a string of endorsement deals. In Lee’s case he has made the transition from teen idol to credible and popular ambassador for sponsors and brands which include the iconic Italian sportswear label Sergio Tacchini, who snapped him up as their brand ambassador for a major UK-wide promotional campaign. This saw Lee follow in the footsteps of Borg, McEnroe and Cash, modeling and endorsing their 2006/2007 range. Lee’s commercial work has gone from strength to strength, further confirming his popularity with Nourkrin who signed Lee in a long term PR Campaign to promote their hair care system.

Incredibly Lee Sharpe has also found time to launch his own fashion collection as well as featuring in top fashion and sports magazines. Lee has also invested in an Estate Agency and even has shares in an airline!

As Lee is now very much a house hold name having appeared on various sports and entertainment shows, he is in much demand as an After Dinner Speaker. His friendly persona allows him to speak to a range of audiences and he is ideal to host events, attend celebrity golf days and speak at corporate and
sporting functions.
