Stuart was discovered as a model by world renowned model agency; Models 1 in 1998 during The Big Breakfast Model Competition in association with Channel 4. Success came quickly and Stuart soon had a list of prestigious clients including both high end fashion labels and editorials. Bruce Weber added to this list by shooting Stuart for Abercrombie and Fitch.
It was while shooting a commercial for Pepsi directed by Michael Bay (Transformers) in 2000, that the acting bug bit and Stuart decided to make it his profession.
He has worked almost consistently since then first becoming well know to the British public in the role of Sam Armstrong in the ITV soap Night and Day; for which Stuart won a prestigious British Soap Award.
During this time Stuart honed his acting skills with a role in the theatre production of Rough Diamond and successfully toured the UK in the production. Stuart followed this with cameo appearances in Holby City and Casualty both produced by the BBC.
It was in 2003 that Stuart made his debut in the Channel 4’s hit soap; Hollyoaks. It is the role of ‘Russell Owen’ that Stuart made his own and was hugely popular with the viewers until his departure in 2009.
Stuart’s down to earth enthusiasm and his obvious acting ability will see him much in demand in the foreseeable future.
