It's Style Wars on TV3: Prepare to Clash!

Toto Productions and TV3 are looking for this season's must-have fashion talent to participate as contestants in a brand new reality series, Style Wars.
Style Wars will broadcast on TV3 this Summer and will feature ten of Ireland's aspiring fashion talent battling it out to be Ireland's ultimate style star.
The show is open to all males and females over 18 but they must have a real obsession for fashion and know their haute couture from their high street.
Over the course of the Summer the contestants will compete in fashion-based challenges that will result in weekly eliminations. Each week, the carefully selected judges will decide who makes the cut and who will fall apart at the seams.
The judging panel comprises of two of the leading names in style and fashion and includes Fashion Label CEO,
Caprice Bourret and International Irish Fashion Designer Peter O'Brien. Guiding the candidates through the rigorous tasks will be Mentor Angela Woods, whose career spanning three decades has jump started the vocations of many Irish Designers since joining NCAD in 1996. NCAD is the platform responsible for many famous home grown talent including Joanne Hynes, Alan Ardiff, Jen Kelly, Orla Kiely and Philip Treacy.
Speaking on behalf of the judges Peter O'Brien explains what the candidates should be prepared for: "Working in the fashion industry takes tenacity, courage, enthusiasm, motivation and resilience. The candidates will need thick skins and be prepared for criticism as fashion is the toughest industry to break into and even harder to have a durable long-term career."
Caprice agree's: "It's not just about hard work, they will need a real flair for fashion and the drive to survive in this cut-throat business. Ireland has produced so many famous names in fashion, and we're looking for the next style star on the cusp of a brilliant career."
The application form for Style Wars is downloadable from www.tv3.ie/stylewars and must emailed to info@totoproductions.ie OR returned to Toto Productions, Farney Villa, Drogheda, Co Louth, Ireland. The closing date for all applications is close of business 12th March 2010.
